Here's one of my favorite painting done in 2009 (mixed technique)
Title: " Somewhere halfway to freedom"
"I can hear the turning of the key
I’ve been deceived by the clown inside of me
I thought that he was righteous but he’s vain
Oh, something’s a-telling me I wear the ball and chain"
Bob Dylan- Abandoned love)
I made this from terracotta, which is extremely practical,
since it is air-dry so it doesn't need to be put in any oven
I always wanted a kamea necklace, so I made one for myself
and I love it :)
I can make one for you too in any color you desire
(for a reasonable price, of course)
I've painted this in 2009 and I used oil on paper
Title: "Meet me at dawn"
I was listening to Bob Dylan's music day and night at that time
and this painting was influenced by his style
There's something in old buildings and cold mornings
that simply fascinates me
|I can feel the sweet smell of the roses coming from the garden. My garden.|
There's one sonnet by William Shakespeare, Sonnet 94, that ends
with the following two lines:
"For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds;
Lilies that fester smell far worse than weeds."
